Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on your usage and which system you choose. On-grid with net metering gives the largest bill reduction because you export surplus units back to PESCO and your meter runs backwards. A hybrid system saves less on paper because part of your generation goes into charging the battery, but it keeps you running during load-shedding. We will show you both numbers for your actual bill before you commit.

Net metering lets you export surplus solar back to the grid and get credited for it, using a bi-directional meter. The process runs through PESCO and involves an application, approval, meter installation and inspection. Timelines vary depending on the load and how busy the office is, so we do not quote a fixed number of weeks — we handle the paperwork and keep you updated on where it stands.

On-grid has no battery. It is the cheapest option and gives the best bill reduction, but it shuts down during an outage. Hybrid adds a battery, so your house keeps running through load-shedding — this is what most homes in Mardan choose. Off-grid is fully independent of the grid, used where there is no reliable connection at all, such as a remote tubewell.

Yes, but at reduced output. Panels generate from daylight rather than direct sun, so an overcast day produces less than a clear one, and winter days are shorter than summer days. This is why we size systems against your yearly usage rather than your best month, and why a hybrid system with battery storage carries you through the weaker periods.
